My name is Mark Harris and I am a ‘change junkie’, or rather was. I have been one for years, desperate for the next thing, the next technique, the next programme, training that will be ‘it’ for me; all the problems, challenges I mean, would just disappear. The book shelf if full, you name it I got it and have read it and ‘understand’ it!

Being so full up with desire for more of the ‘muchness’ I sensed I wanted was very uncomfortable, just a focus on what I perceived I did not have, as if there was anywhere to get!

Then I met a man who assisted me, a ‘capacity cultivator’ he calls himself, when I am around him I get how wonderful I am, funny that, because my experience of self help gurus is different.

I talk with this man, we have a conversation, I seek to dazzle him with my NLP, Sedona, NVC,TA,CBT etc etc and he listens.

‘Every person desires to love, be loved, to know that they count and that they are powerful enough to make positive choices in their lives’, simple, he says.

Three things are necessary :

To love others unconditionally just because they breath

To be ‘present’ to others, to hear their voice in your head as though the words were your own

To know that in any moment they have the power to make a choice

Wow, is that all there is?

I notice that when I am ‘with’ people I don’t need a technique.
